Kansas Home Watch Service of Ozawkie, KS, has gained Accredited Member status in the NHWA for the second consecutive year.

Marlin and Cheryl Youngquist have lived in Kansas for 19 years. They have raised 10 children and are enjoying their seven grandchildren.

Marlin has over 30 years’ experience in business management. Cheryl has been a nurse for 30 years and has had paralegal training.

The Youngquists have owned many properties and rehabilitated, remodeled and finished all of them utilizing Marlin’s skills. Their experience and skills make their services the best in Kansas!

We had the pleasure of meeting the Youngquists at last year's First Annual North American Conference. We hope to see them again next year!

RegencyHome Watch Services, of Haymarket, VA, has joined the NHWA!

Managing Member Kevin J. Hayes is from Washington, D.C. He has a background in security, having worked with a major defense contractor for almost 10 years, serving on contracts with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Prior to that, he worked with a background investigation firm, performing background checks on defense employees.

After leaving the defense industry in 2011, Kevin worked on a contract with the International Monetary Fund and then served as a special police officer for a private community in Washington, D.C.

Kevin has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of the District of Columbia and studied culinary arts at the Baltimore International Culinary College. He once cooked for a local masso-soprano.

Kevin is a long-time resident of Gainesville, VA, where he resides with his wife and children.

HawkEye Home Watch earns second-year Accredited Member status in the NHWA!

HawkEyeHome Watch has earned Accredited Member status in the NHWA for the second consecutive year.

Owner Mike Padgett moved to Fountain Hills, AZ, in 2001. When he saw how many part-time residents there were in the area, he realized that a Home Watch business would be beneficial to his community. After being mentored by an established Home Watch business in Sun City, AZ, he decided to launch HawkEye Home Watch in 2011.

Mike’s background experience is with home renovations, general handyman repairs, and property management for a local homeowners association. He has many years’ experience working in the field of customer service, and he knows that trust, honesty, integrity and reliability are key factors in keeping his clients happy with the services he provides.

HawkEye Home Watch is part of the local Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce and the Fountain Hills Business Alliance.

My HomeAngel, LLC, of Spring Hill, FL, has joined the NHWA.

Vice-President Tom Madonia is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, GA, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. As a licensed realtor, Tom was regularly asked by his seasonal customers about how they should care for their homes when they went back up North. Repeated requests and the absence of a Home Watch company in Hernando County made the need for a local Home Watch service evident.

Tom and his wife, April, the company’s President, committed to meeting this need by applying their decades of experience in home ownership, property management, and real estate rehabbing to create a reliable and professional service in My Home Angel. Rehabbing dozens of homes from the Hamptons to Florida’s Nature Coast has made them intimately familiar with the problems that can arise and the financial burden of costly damage to homes left unchecked. Their experience enables them to effectively keep watch over unoccupied homes, and their established contractor relationships help solve problems quickly when they arise.

Carlson Concierge, of Scottsdale, AZ, has gained Accredited Member status in the NHWA for the second consecutive year.

Owners Lee and Maureen Carlson started their business in 2009. It has always been their purpose to utilize their unique skill sets to give their customers peace of mind with their vacation homes. They work with many US and Canadian absentee homeowners who are looking for a company to be their eyes and ears while they are away. Carlson Concierge is also are the main concierge for destination clubs and VRBO rental homes. Due to their consistent level of communication and service, their customers are very loyal to them.

Lee and Maureen both hold BSBA degrees in business. They have three wonderful children who assist with the business.

Redcap - Lowcountry Service Concierge, of Beaufort, SC, has gained Accredited Member status in the NHWA.

Redcap is a brand-new Home Watch, concierge and auto detailing business based in Beaufort, South Carolina. Owners Jeff and Lauren Tillapaugh are second-time business owners in Beaufort: their first was a waterfront restaurant and market in a gated community. During their four-year ownership of the restaurant, Jeff and Lauren came to view their customers as family and discovered many unmet needs, especially among second-home owners and elderly members of the community. Based on those needs, they developed Redcap, offering Home Watch, concierge, and mobile detailing services. They look forward to building on the relationships they have already developed in the local community and caring for their customers in a different way.

Jeff and Lauren have over a decade of combined customer service experience and thrive on delivering genuine, high-quality hospitality experiences where “old-fashioned service” meets modern efficiency. Jeff is from Cobleskill, New York, and has degrees from SUNY Cobleskill, Ithaca College, and SUNY Cortland. He has worked as a teacher, a collegiate program coordinator and restaurateur. Lauren is from Douglasville, Georgia, and has degrees from Agnes Scott College and Cornell University. She has worked as an event planner, marketing director, consultant and restaurateur.

Jeff and Lauren have a 2-1/2 year old daughter, Maren (who is the real “boss” of them) and a Weimaraner, Oliver. They love living in the Lowcountry and enjoy going to the beach, kayaking and dining out in Beaufort, Charleston, and Savannah’s amazing local restaurants. They are excited about being a part of the community of Home Watch professionals at the NHWA and getting to meet many of them at the Conference last month.
