Gardens Home Management Services of Palm Beach Gardens and Boca Raton has gained accreditation in the NHWA. Charles (Chip) Sollins is the President and CEO, whom I have known since I first decided to start the NHWA. I met with Chip in early 2010 in Florida, and after 4 years, he has finally decided to align Garden Homes Management with the NHWA. Chip brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the NHWA with his vast experience and successes throughout his career. He is very active in local and national charities, as well as his beloved alma mater, the University of Maryland.

Second consecutive accreditation for Home Watch Service Plus of Fernandina Beach

Home Watch Service Plus of Fernandina Beach, FL, has gained NHWA accreditation for the second consecutive year. Dave Carter's company offers Home Watch and property preservation services in Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island, as well as Kingsland, GA. After spending years in the corporate world managing 30 different brands, and also spending time in the construction management industry, Dave founded HWS Plus in 2012. He developed a franchise-able business plan to deal with property management, mortgage companies and homeowners alike. HWS Plus offers a wide variety of services, including: Home Watch, maintenance, concierge, lawn and landscaping, and much more. Dave is married to his lovely wife, Jeri; they reside in Fernandina Beach.

Home Watch Group of SWFL has gained Accredited Member status in the National Home Watch Association for the fourth consecutive year! I take great pleasure in announcing this, because when I decided to start the NHWA, owner Bob Myers was one of the people I met with for advice in Florida. Bob has always been a guiding force in the Home Watch industry, which is the exact reason that I asked him to become the first member of the NHWA Board of Advisors.

Florida Estate Management Services of West Palm Beach, FL, gains third-year accreditation!

Florida Estate Management Services of West Palm Beach, FL, has attained Accredited Member status in the National Home Watch Association for the third consecutive year. FEMS is owned by John T. (Travis) Bumgarner. Travis graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a business degree in 1999 and started Clean & Treat Pest Services in 2000. In 2005, Travis purchased Florida Estate Management Services from a friend and colleague who was relocating out of state, and who entrusted her company to Travis knowing he would care for it as she did. Since 2005, he has grown the company name, brand and reputation, primarily through word-of-mouth, community involvement and reputation. FEMS’s mission is to provide unparalleled service and commitment to their clients as it strives every day to achieve its goals. Travis is very proud to be one of the original members of the NHWA.

We enjoyed spending some time with Travis and his assistant, Amy Pope, at the NHWA's First Annual Conference in October. We're looking forward to catching up with them again at our next Conference.
