Lookout Home Watch, of Scottsdale, Arizona, has gained Accredited Member status in the NHWA.

Owners Mark and Susie Golub have been happily married since 1969 and moved to the Valley of the Sun from Ohio in 2005. They founded Lookout Home Watch in order to provide a sense of security and peace of mind for the absentee homeowner. Their home monitoring service offers periodic visual inspections of your home and property, in order to discover and report potential issues that may arise while their clients are away.

Prior to establishing Lookout Home Watch, Mark served in the U.S. Navy, was the owner and operator of an automotive parts supply business for 35 years, and was a licensed real estate appraiser. He has many skills, including the ability to perform minor home repairs. Susie has been a pre-school teacher and an interior decorator. Both Susie and Mark are volunteer Scottsdale Ambassadors, offering information to tourists in Old Town Scottsdale.

Mark and Susie say that Lookout Home Watch is their only employment and business, so they are totally committed to our clients. They have old-school values and are dedicated to the highest standard of professional service.

Gotcha Covered Home Watch Services, of Cape Coral, FL, has gained Accredited Member status in the NHWA!

Gotcha Covered Home Watch Services, of Cape Coral, Florida, has gained Accredited Member status in the NHWA!

Owners Deborah Coaker (VP and Secretary) and John Karcher (President and Treasurer) purchased a condo in Southwest Florida in 2001.  They lived up north and spent as much time as possible in the Sunshine State. It didn’t take long for them to realize that they needed another reliable set of eyes to watch their condo in their absence. Having a Home Watch service was a money saver when the air-conditioner stopped working in mid-July, and when there was a water leak in the unit above theirs. Had they found out about these problems only when they returned to their condo in November, not only would there have been a mess, but they would have had to spend their week in paradise addressing these issues.

In 2007, they decided to make Cape Coral their full-time home and built a house in the Northwest Cape. John has been in management with a large corporation for 32 years. He has volunteered for the Cape Coral Police Department and is the block watch captain for their street.  Deborah’s career was in banking, sales, and marketing. She is now enjoying semi-retirement, watching her grandchildren who live in the area, as well as volunteering her time at the Cape Coral Hospital and working with the local neighborhood association. 

Together they have a total of 5 children and 13 grandchildren, which means they have lots of visitors. They love living on the water and enjoying the activities that go with that privilege like boating and fishing.

Comet Security, of Vernon, NJ, has gained third-year Accredited Member status in the NHWA!

CometSecurity, of Vernon, NJ, has gained Accredited Member status in the NHWA for the third consecutive year.

Established in 1999, Comet provides well-trained, highly qualified security personnel to clients and is committed to achieving client satisfaction by providing hands-on, cost-effective and professional services. The owner and senior management of Comet are directly involved in the relationship with and day-to-day support of their clients. 


Craig Thompson has been employed with Comet since 2008, eventually becoming President and then owner. Craig served as a Captain in the United States Army and is a 2001 graduate of The Citadel: Military College of South Carolina.


Jim Flanagan has been employed as the Vice President of Comet since 2011. Prior to Comet, he was a senior vice president with a large, nationwide security company. He was also the owner of a mid-size security and Home Watch firm and began his career as a municipal police officer. Jim has been married for 39 years. He has three grown children and one grandson.

TLC Home Watch, LLC, of The Villages, FL, joins the NHWA!

Greetings and salutations!

TLCHome Watch, LLC, of The Villages, Florida, has gained Accredited Member status inthe National Home Watch Association.

Owner Rodger Dale grew up in Minnesota. He graduated from Mankato State College with a major in German and a minor in history. Four years later, he graduated from Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary. He spent 40 years as a pastor in Iowa, Minnesota, Texas, and Florida.

Rodger’s wife, Connie, grew up in Wisconsin. She studied social work at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. She is the definition of multitasking: she is the mother of four children, manager of their home, and had a full-time career in insurance and health care.

Rodger and Connie have been happily married since 1967, living in Florida for 18 years and in The Villages since 2006. They have four children and eight grandchildren, who are their special joy.

After retiring in 2012, the Dales started TLC Home Watch. Since then, they have made thousands of visits to homes in The Villages. Rodger says they say they never claim to be perfect because they don’t have control over everything that can happen; however, “What we can control is to be faithful and do what we promise to do. This is so important to us that we pray that God will make us competent as well as faithful.”
