The NHWA welcomes NJ Home Watch!

Keith Gunsten of NJ Home Watch

For those people who have a second home in the Long Beach Island area of the NJ shore, I have great news: Keith Gunsten and NJ Home Watch are on the job. For those not familiar with the area, Long Beach Island is a wonderful place. A barrier island situated off the NJ coast, it is 2 hours south of Manhattan, an hour east of Philadelphia, and a half hour north of Atlantic City. It is home to towns like Ship Bottom, Beach Haven, Harvey Cedars, Loveladies and Barnegat Light (Home of Ol' Barney: The lighthouse...not the purple dinosaur.)  It has great beaches to the east, and the Barnegat Bay to the west. LBI recently took a pretty big hit from Super Storm Sandy. So a lot of people were happy to have Keith watching their homes...and their back. Keith's resume is very impressive. A retired NJ State Trooper, he spent most of his years in the Marine Police division. When he retired, Keith became a licensed private detective and formed a security company. He added Home Watch to his business 7 years ago, when he and his wife of 32 years, Cathy, saw the need for a service in their area. Keith holds a US Coast Guard 100 ton Masters License and is a certified boating safety instructor. Extremely active in his community, Keith is the president of the local Rotary Club and sits on the board of the Southern Ocean Medical Center Foundation. He and Cathy are members of the Southern Ocean Chamber of Commerce, where Cathy sits on the Executive Board. They have two children, and one (and a half!) grandchild. Please visit their website at NJHomeWatch.com. NJ Home Watch serves the Long Beach Island communities, as well as the rest of the Jersey Shore including Southern Monmouth, Ocean and Atlantic counties.

Talk to you soon,

Jack
